Tips for Advanced Searches

Advanced Search allows you to search for a word or phrase within a specific category. Here are some helpful tips for using the Advanced Search function.

1. To search for a specific phrase, be sure to put the phrase within quotes (e.g. "1935 Auburn")
2. You can enter search terms in one or more fields. Using multiple categories will further narrow down your results.
3. The asterisk (*) is a wildcard (e.g. a search for "193* will result in records containing 1930, 1931, 1932, 1933, etc.).
4. Searches are not case sensitive.
