Description |
1929 Duesenberg J-268, Chassis 2290 Convertible Coupe. This was the only Model J ever exported to Japan. Originally owned by Kimakichi Fukuzawa of Tokyo. The body was built in Japan (to avoid hefty import duty) by Kaiserlautern. In 1954 a A US GI, Captain Charles Halbrooks, purchased pruchased it and took it to Germany during WWII where it was rebodied by Meiterschule fur Handwerke.
